The spoon bread mixes, cornbread mixes, and the self-rising corn meal mix arrived promptly and were adequately packed for shipment. The spoonbread mix is a family favorite; since moving from Frankfort, we have missed this Boone Tavern favorite. Today I made the most beautiful cast iron skillet of cornbread using the self-rising cornmeal mix. It was far superior to any mix that I have ever used. It had beautiful texture and a delicious flavor.

Best spoon bread ever

The Weisenenberger is the best spoon bread/batter bread ever. I grew up on spoon bread and have gotten lazy in my old age & don't make it from scratch anymore. I tried different mixes & they weren't very good. But then fortunately I found Weisenberger. What a wonderful surprise. Not only is it easy, it is delicious. Please don't ever stop making it. Yours is better than what I used to make from scratch. I highly recommend.
