I am so glad this pumpernickel rye is back in stock! I tried other rye flours while I waited, and the flavor difference was obvious. If you haven't tried this flour in your hearty loaves, give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed!

Just perfect!
I’ve been using a grocery store rye for my pumpernickel sourdough loaves. Never again! The coarser grind and the flavor is an outstanding improvement! I’m a fan!

Makes great rye bread
I was pretty pleased with my rye breads using the medium grind rye flower, but switching to the courser grind really took my bread up another notch. It was pretty much a 1:1 substitution and gave my breads a nuttier flavor and texture. Is not often available so grab it when you see it!
