Made from hard spring wheat for use in baking bread with yeast as the leavening agent. This flour is strong enough to produce a good loaf with regular recipes or bread machines. **(Comes in fine or coarse grind. Both flours are the same. You may choose the one which baked bread with texture you prefer.)

Great for many bakegoods

I get the coarse grind and use it for baking dog biscuits. It gives the biscuits more crunch and fiber. The dogs love it.

Best Whole Wheat Flour

I have been baking bread for many years. My challenge has always been finding a truly great whole wheat flour. I grew up in Kansas where there are thousands of acres of wheat grown and milled each year. Montana, Oregon, Nebraska among others also grow and mill wheat. I have used whole wheat flour grown and milled in many of those states but never thought to try flour made by a Kentucky flour mill. Six months ago I needed whole wheat flour for bread I was baking and bought a 5 lb bag of 'Course Grind Weisenberger Hard Whole Wheat Bread Flour'. The bread turned out exceptional in both taste and texture. I continue to use this flour as it is the best of any (I have tried at least 6 different brands) whole wheat flour I have used in bread baking.

Excellent flour

I use this flour to make whole wheat bread. The flavors are excellent and the quality is always the same. It is the best flour I have found.
